Barista comp should be awesome. The lady & I share a love for coffee, after a year of black coffee mornings – I’ve decided we need a few Friday night reds. Plus, I’ve never been to the show ???? #firstcase

I am super excited that the KZN regional barista championship is happening at this year’s good food and wine show! My life is incomplete without a good cuppa in the morning, and am planning to go on a home barista course in November. This is the perfect opportunity to source the perfect beans and learn some skills. 😀

I have never been before, but I would have to say that I would take my Mom who is an adamant coffee lover of epic proportions, so I think seeing the KZN Regionals Barista Championship would be fantastic for her to see. I am very much looking forward to everything in general – there is always a special place in my heart to great food though!

I have a few friends who are taking part in this competition so I would love to see them doing their thing! And of course… fooooooooood!

Our group of friends have made this event a must have. Unfortunately 2 from our group will be moving back to Paris and another 2 are relocating to Cape Town. So this will be our last ” GF&WS” show together.

I absolutely love this event. I attend every year with my aunt, she is the ultimate coffee & wine lover. It’s our special aunt and favourite niece time. The timing is always perfect as it’s just before exams so it’s the one weekend that I use to destress, my personal calm before the storm. I’m most looking forward to celebrity chef J’Something! It’s my dream to have him sing a little something to me while cooking and these tickets would bring me one step closer to realising that dream, all the yummy goodies are a bonus! ????????????
