Set in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, near the meandering Mooi River,
Treverton offers a scenic trail experience that feels both accessible and rewarding. Winding through open
grasslands, pockets of
forest, rolling
farmlands, and past tranquil
dams, the route invites runners to enjoy the scenery while still having a solid day out on the trails.
The course blends flowing paths with gentle climbs and smooth descents, giving just enough challenge to keep things interesting while remaining welcoming for all runners. Expect varied terrain, fresh air, and that satisfying rhythm that comes with being out in nature.
This is the first time Treverton is opening its trails to runners, making it a special opportunity to be part of a brand-new Midlands trail event.
It’s a relaxed and enjoyable way to get out on the trails, take in the countryside, and experience the charm of the Midlands in a friendly, welcoming environment.
