Expanding beyond the Midlands and Durban, this event brings runners to a coastal landscape where lush forest, open views, and flowing trails come together for a memorable day out.
The route winds through a diverse network of trails, including the flowing Pepperwood Trail alongside the river, before entering the Butterfly Forest — a vibrant section where the surroundings feel alive with movement.
From here, runners climb steadily to Ocean’s View, the highest point on the course, where sweeping views stretch across the coastline and rolling hills beyond.
Underfoot, the course offers a well-balanced mix of jeep track and predominantly singletrack, all well maintained and easy to navigate.
