Picnic in the Winston Park is a fundraising concert for Winston Park Primary School held on Del Buys sports field.
Last year saw its first edition and welcomed over 700 people to the space. The aim was to create a family friendly concert which felt like having a picnic in your backyard.
Four awesome local artists entertained the crowd of all ages and cultures with something for everyone and a special attention on making room for the kiddos.
By bringing your own food & cold drinks (which will also be on sale) makes it easy and affordable for people to spend the entire afternoon right up till sunset.
This year the concert is going BIGGER and BETTER aiming to pull in 1,000 people which on the field is perfect to create an atmosphere but still not be crowded, four of Durban’s finest entertainers will perform: Veranda Panda, Tanner Wareham, Angel Mazibuko and family band Kith and Kin covering all genres from Veranda Panda’s sunset dance set, Tanner and Angel’s Afro Pop mix in the afternoon and Kith and Kin who specialise in classic hits as well as games to get the young ones involved.
