What to expect at the 11th Durban International Boat & Lifestyle Show

A ticket to the 11th Durban International Boat & Lifestyle Show means a taste of the good life! With so much on offer entertainment wise, the show is an ideal day out for the whole family. But if you’re not already convinced by the marvelous nautical offerings, there are a host of activities and events at the show like kite demos, a sailing and rowing regatta for youth, boat and new marine equipment demonstrations, and much more!

For the motoring and off-road junkies, there’s a showcase of the latest tow-cars and 4x4s available as well as the opportunity to win a Nissan Juke, where you can stand a chance of winning by posting a selfie in aid of the Rhino Orphanage.

If you’re a fishing enthusiast, the Durban International Boat & Lifestyle Show brings you presentations on bait, tackle, a fishing simulator and casting. This feature is complemented by casting competitions.  The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) will also be there with its rescue boat, and a knowledgeable crew to inform you how they keep our waterways and ocean safe for all members of the boating fraternity.

Overall, there are great prizes to be won, a kids’ entertainment area and the all new beer garden, restaurant area and Caravan Corner.With so much to do and see, get down to the 11th Durban International Boat & Lifestyle Show. It’s happening from 18 to 20 July 2014 at the Durban Marina, from 9:30am to 5pm. Tickets are R50 for adults and R30 for kids over 12 and senior citizens. Kids under 12 get in free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the entrance to the show.
