Number 5 Guesthouse
We were lucky enough to stay at the exquisite Number 5 Guesthouse during our stay in Cape Town.
It’s the ideal location, being just footsteps from the most vibrant areas of the city with shops, coffee shops and restaurants.
As we walked into the guesthouse, we were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our bedroom where we would be spending the night. The first impression I got from this beautiful place was that it felt more of a home than a hotel/holiday place. It made the perfect setting for a relaxed environment.
With 7 beautifully decorated bedrooms, its peaceful, quaint outdoor areas are a welcoming haven after a long day of discovering the buoyant city.
I loved the unique vintage decor, as well as the eating area where everyone was free to sit and chat over breakfast. (We met an interesting French man during our breakfast!)
One thing we have to mention, is that their shower was probably the best shower we’ve ever experienced, compared to all the other places we’ve been to. So if you’re the shower lover, this is your perfect place!
Next time you visit Cape Town, I recommend this place to be on the top of your accommodation list!
