Celebrate a South African Christmas at uShaka Marine World

Published

on

Celebrate Christmas this year with Durban’s most festive family – the dolphins at uShaka Marine World. They’ll be performing their dazzling aquatic aerobatics to some of the season’s traditional tunes and adding an extra special sparkle to everyone’s end of year celebrations.

From December 13 – 15, the uShaka Marine World Dolphin Stadium will be filled with a special Christmas spirit and a strong message that encapsulates hope, faith, the value of family and friends, joy, peace, kindness, forgiveness and love.

This year’s eagerly anticipated annual Dolphins by Starlight show will have something even more special – a vibrant home grown feel, paying homage to our heritage and country, it’s people and song. Both the audience and Santa himself can experience traditional Christmas songs reworked with vibrant local flavour as local artists and choirs make these great musical celebrations their own.

Although everyone knows that the uShaka dolphins always steal the show, they’ll be cheered on by local artists and choirs and so much more.

We’ll soon be “letting the dolphin out of the bag” and announcing the names of well-known theatre personalities who will be hosting this year’s truly home grown Dolphins by Starlight festivities.
