Lucky Fish Friday Night Racing is turning up the local flavour at Hollywoodbets Greyville this Friday, 16 October, with a celebration of all things proudly South African. Expect thrilling racing, vibrant entertainment, delicious food and the kind of lekker atmosphere that makes for a memorable night out.
With FREE ENTRY, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather friends and family and enjoy a different kind of Friday evening.
Music, entertainment and plenty of GEES
The entertainment line-up brings its own flavour to the evening. Tim Lewis will be on the decks with DJ and live sax sounds, while Race Coast mascot Kubo will be ready to take selfies with you between 5pm and 7pm. Live entertainment will make the evening as much about the atmosphere as the action on the track.
A feast of local flavours
Food lovers can look forward to a tempting selection of vendors serving everything from Korean and Mexican-inspired food to burgers, pizza, samoosas, vetkoek, baked treats and desserts.
For those wanting to settle in for a full meal, the Durban View Restaurant offers a buffet at R325 per person. The menu celebrates hearty favourites, with dishes including oxtail potjie, roast leg of lamb, lamb curry, chicken sosaties, chakalaka, creamy samp, vegetable babotie and a selection of traditional South African desserts.
Drinks Specials Across the Venue
Raise a glass to Mzansi Magic with drinks specials at the Durban View Restaurant Bar, Lightning Shot and Trackside Vibe! Enjoy selected beers and ciders at 3 for R90, selected whiskeys at R15 per tot, and gin specials at 2 for R70. Selected wines will also be on special at the Durban View Restaurant Bar and Lightning Shot, while cocktails will be available at Trackside Vibe.
