Was set up on a blind date, and when he came to fetch me, it turns out that we were double dating! He arrived to pick me up with his brother and sister-in-law…As if that was not awkward enough, I had to sit in the back of the vehicle with his sister-in-law, and make small talk with a stranger, like I was not under pressure enough already! So then we arrived at the shopping mall (of their choice by the way). So it was decided that we were going to watch a movie, and have dinner. So we started off with dinner, and at the restaurant, we all ordered…so it turns out in their family, it is normal to share food and eat from each other’s plates…which is what they did with me, they asked for my ribs (to taste apparently)…I ended up giving it away to them as I was put off and did not feel like eating thereafter. Then on to the movie, the choice was “My Bloody Valentine” in 3D. That was the most gruesome and violent movie I have yet seen, limbs and body parts being sliced and thrown all over the place! This was the worst date / Valentines ever! #ValentinesDay #EPICFAIL

I was in a relationship for 4years with someone who didnt work, didnt spoil me, didnt think Valentines day mattered and was more in love with weed than me. Every 14th of Feb was just another day. Sometimes I would trick myself into thinking that ‘this year will be different, Valentines will be special’ blah! My ex has really ruined Valentines day for me forever. Now I am in a new relationship with the most amazing person who is crazy romantic and I would love to share this prize with my baby!

All my friends have made it tradition since campus to have an anti-vday party each year. Okay well not fully anti since the couples end up crashing the parties haha. Would be fun to attend one that we’re not hosting esp when its a 5fm party! 🙂 Keen!
