Grammy winning star and multi-platinum-selling artist, Chris Brown, is heading to Durban in April! “Breezy” has scheduled only two stops in the SA leg of his world tour and KZN fans have been lucky enough to score.

Brown jets into Durban after his Joburg performance and is set to strut his stuff at People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 4 April 2015.

Proudly brought to you by Glen21 Entertainment, Jalibird and Vertex Events in association with Channel O and East Coast Radio, the concert celebrates the release of the star’s sixth studio album entitled X.

The album sees Chris teaming up with some of today’s hottest artists including Usher, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Tyga. The hit single Loyal featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga has notched up over one million in sales and has claimed the No. 1 spot on Mainstream R&B/Hip charts for nine weeks and eight weeks at the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.

“I want everyone to take a journey with me through ‘X,’ says Brown. “We’re going to experience the highs and the lows, the love and the pain.”

X is the follow-up to Brown’s 2012 chart-topping album Fortune, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and earned Brown a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Chris Brown is just one of a string of international artists heading to Durban in the first quarter of 2015, made possible by East Coast Radio. The Script & Philip Philips will be performing at Durban’s ICC on 6 Feb 2015. An impressive line-up of stars are heading for the Kia 80’s Rewind Festival at Growthpoint Kings Park on 7 Feb 2015, among them Nick Kershaw, Billy Ocean, Cutting Crew, M People and Go West. British star Passenger will perform at the Durban Botanic Gardens on 13 Feb 2015. Michael rolls into town on 17 March 2015 for a performance at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Back by popular demand, Durban comedy favourites Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert-McIlroy return to the Northlands Bowling Club, in Durban North for audiences who missed the show the first time around.

Expect old favourite characters and a soundtrack packed with thumping hits as McIlroy and Bobbert once again deliver their trademark blend of side-splitting humour, larger-than-life personalities, and musical mayhem!
