On Sunday, November 29th, the Durban Toy Run departed from the Pavilion Shopping Centre with teddies and toys in tow, and ended in Amanzimtoti, as part of the Durban West Tourism Toy Run, one of the largest motorcycle charity events in the world. The Toy Run doesn’t just collect toys; it collects people – on bikes, on foot, on skateboards, and even on four wheels – who bring toys to a central venue to donate them to be distributed to disadvantaged children in homes and unfunded grass-roots care centre’s.
