JEREMY LOOPS HITS ALL THE RIGHT NOTES FOR DURBAN CROWD
With all the warm feelings of Heritage Day still fresh in our minds, Sunday’s music concert at the Durban Botanic Gardens was a fitting celebration of our beautiful country with over 3500 Durbanites turning up to enjoy South Africa’s very own Jeremy Loops, Rubber DUC and Bad Peter.
Opening act Bad Peter Duo made their way from Pretoria to get the Durban crowd out of their camping chairs, off their picnic blankets and onto their feet at the front of the stage with an energizing mix of folk, blues, African, pop and Latin sounds. The crowd went crazy when Jeremy Loops and his instrumental, musically gifted crew took to the stage, performing a selection of music that he asked the crowd to choose. A mix of old and new made for the perfect entertainment. All in all, another fun-filled day out for local family and friends at the Old Mutual Music at the Lake series.

Back by popular demand, Durban comedy favourites Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert-McIlroy return to the Northlands Bowling Club, in Durban North for audiences who missed the show the first time around.
Expect old favourite characters and a soundtrack packed with thumping hits as McIlroy and Bobbert once again deliver their trademark blend of side-splitting humour, larger-than-life personalities, and musical mayhem!
Some characters to expect; Bruce and Charmaine as unforgettable Elvis impersonators, Dot and Max settling into the chaos of retirement village life, and everyone’s favourite philosopher of the people, Dr Veejay, offering his “words of wisdom.” Add in a host of hilarious new faces, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a fun night out!
Directed and choreographed by the sensational Daisy Spencer, Bump and Grind promises to keep audiences on their feet — or rolling in the aisles — with laughter, music, and McIlroy & Bobbert’s unbeatable comic chemistry.
