We spent our day at the Giba Gorge MTB Park where the The Play Market was in full swing!
Races, trails for all fitness levels, pony rides, candy floss, 5 minutes of peace (i.e. the bar), lots of shady areas where you can picnic, relax and just enjoy a day out in the open with the family. The market offers a variety of stalls as well as the new Deli section which boasts organic veg and eggs, some heavenly cheeses, Angela’s Balsamic Glazes – tried and tested and pretty amazing – and more!
The Giba Cafe is always a buzz with lots of comfy seating to sit, relax, with a bite to eat while listening to the live entertainment.
Mark this one on your ‘TO DO’ list folks… definitely something worth while. There is always something on the go, so do check out their website / Facebook pages for the latest information. It is R10 entrance to the park per person visiting and R40 for riders, which (in my opinion) is a fair amount when you look at the grounds and the upkeep of same.
