Harlem Globetrotters returning to South Africa after almost two decades

The New Zealand based promoter, On The Road Events, regrets to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances the Harlem Globetrotters tour of South Africa has been cancelled.

The Globetrotters, who were scheduled to perform in South Africa in July 2015, are looking forward to performing in South Africa as soon as revised dates have been set.

The US-based exhibition basketball squad is one of the world’s most loved sports teams, bringing a unique blend of athleticism and theatre to the center court. South Africans will get to experience all of this first-hand, starting 1 July.

The Globetrotters are much more than entertainers though, they are a super capable force with hoop skills second to none.  The team have a unique showcase of basketball skills that have found their way into the record books and showmanship that will enthrall the whole family.
