Crowds of motoring enthusiasts will make a beeline for the Durban Exhibition Centre this November to catch the Durban Motor Show, 8 – 10 November and we are giving 10 lucky Durbanite’s the opportunity to enter and win double tickets for the 8th November! See below for details on how to enter.
Visitors can expect to see a line up of the very best from McLaren, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Audi, Nissan, BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota, Global GTR, GWM and Mustang. Alongside these brands, special appearances by the GC Racing, Department of Justice and Auto Trader, and a full range of aftermarket accessories including the likes of CPI Chiptuning, Racechip South Africa, SA Classic Motorcycles, and Sound Lab.
This year’s Durban Motor Show lineup is packed full of mind-blowing experiences, the best the motor industry has to offer. Prepare to be thrilled and exhilarated.

Some of the most anticipated features include the Harley-Davidson 3-D Experience Truck where you can test drive your dream bike; Nissan R33 Drag Car static launches by GC Racing; The Jetstream F1 car; modified Chev Luminas in the Suicide Ride arena where fans can experience the g-force of going sideways; and daring precision driving displays by XS Promotions. Not to forget live spray demos by Wicked Dips.
There are a few firsts in the line-up too –
Over 30 of South Africa’s top drifters will be competing to have their name written in the history books.
The Auto Trader SupaDrift Series has travelled around the country this year building a big following on the way, making the final at Durban this year, a special occasion in the motoring calendar, when the first ever national drift champion will be crowned.
Then we’re turning the spotlight to you. The Show n Shine and Sound Off competitions allow visitors to enter their vehicles into the ultimate showdowns.

Whatever type of vehicle you prefer, or experience you’re after, you’ll be leaving with more than just the wind having blown your hair back. At just R80 a ticket, this is the best value for money motoring experience in the province.
The Durban Motor Show will be held at the Durban Exhibition Centre at 11 Walnut Road from the
8th – 10th November 2013. Tickets are available through www.computicket.com

Who says that chicks don’t dig cars! So yes, this stilletto clad diva can change a tyre and knows her revs from her Guccis. What I want to see the most are the Mustang shelbies. Now that is one serious motor car! I wish our government could allow these beauties to grace our roads instead of minibus taxis:) oh well, that’s why they host the best motor show in the best town on Earth,Durbs! Yay! I want to go simply to ogle the gorgeous pieces of steel. This is a woman’s world as well. Now if you excuse me I need to get behind my V8 and to some racing to school to fetch the future car designer,my 10 year old daughter!

The modified Chev Luminas sucide ride should be a kickass experience, I’m sure there will be some big American muscle beauties to drool over & the super drift will be epic. Glad they’ve got some racing for us to enjoy. KTM should have got on board & previewed their ‘beast’ the 1280 super duke r. It would have stolen the show.
