Published

on

Pioneering the party scene of South Africa, 4U RAGE FESTIVAL will be introducing another innovative and fantastic concept to this year’s biggest youth festival in South Africa. G&G Productions is proud to bring THE SOUND FACTORY to 4U RAGE FESTIVAL for the very first time in 2013. Due to the exponential growth of the festival over the last few years with literally tens of thousands of party-goers making their way to the festival, THE SOUND FACTORY will offer more than just a party but more of an experience for all those that attend.

THE SOUND FACTORY is a three-dance-floor temporary venue that will host five out of the seven 4U Rage Power events.  It will set a new standard for entertainment and music with stage and lighting production that will encompass all the best of the festival in one concentrated center of the universe. The idea behind THE SOUND FACTORY is to provide a space that can be fully transformed each night.  This will create a new experience every 24 hours allowing seven international DJ’s to take over ‘The Big Room’ main stage over one week.

Not only are the biggest DJs on the planet and in South Africa gracing THE SOUND FACTORY at the 4U RAGE FESTIVAL, but the concept venue features outstanding and spellbinding décor making all 4U RAGE PASSPORT holders feel like they are in another universe. The ‘Hanging Garden’ stage will take you away from the concrete jungle into an amazing landscape of natural elements of the earth. The ‘High Top Hip-Hop’ stage will feature the biggest and best names in hip-hop that South Africa has to offer. All lovers of street lifestyle and bling will be enthralled by the genuine feel of being on the curb jamming to the latest beats. ‘The Big Room’ main stage will be transformed every night to fit the theme of the party. Expect the best in LED screens, explosive sound that will keep you going all night and the greatest and biggest dance experience that will make you feel like you’re at a new and different party every night on this floor.

Kicking off in overdrive on the 30th of November 2013, international headlining DJ, R3hab will be performing alongside 5FM’s Fresh, Euphonik, Milkshake and Roger Goode among others for ‘Fist Pump Nation’. Joining the star-studded lineup on the night will be Kent, Tomorrow’s Will, PH, Nick Supply and many more. Many interactive elements as well as the biggest party in South Africa on that night is guaranteed.

The 2nd of December sees local dance favourites, Pascal & Pearce, taking to the dancefloor alongside international superstar, Madeon. Benny Maverick, DJ Worde, Justin Miller and more big name DJ’s will be spinning the tunes into the early hours of the morning for all 4U RAGE FESTIVAL attendees at the ‘Stimorol Infinity’ evening.  The very next night, the 3rd of December, the tone changes for everyone to ‘Get Dirty In Dub’ as Jack Parow, Jeremy Loops, AKA, GoodLuck, PH Fat set the stage alight before the dupstep legend from Israel, Borgore, takes things to an exciting new level at 4U RAGE FESTIVAL.

And we’re not done yet! The 4th of December sees all attendees ‘Get Ready To Jump’ as the Spanish DJ prodigy, Danny Avila, throws his hand in the mix as the best way to celebrate ‘hump day’ at 4U RAGE FESTIVAL. UK DJ, Hannah Wants will be joining Danny Avila on the decks as well as the hip-hop collective, Major League on the High-Top Hip-Hop stage. The final night of THE SOUND FACTORY, which takes place on the 5th of December, sees ‘Rage In Colour’ transform the venue into a colourful and mesmerizing party landscape! German powerhouse duo, Tube & Berger will perform alongside local dubstep DJ Grimehouse as well as the popular Royal K to name a few who will close off a monumental and epic week of partying at THE SOUND FACTORY.

THE SOUND FACTORY is for everyone! Whether you are into international DJ’s, the top local live acts or the best hip-hop South Africa has to serve, THE SOUND FACTORY has it all for you almost every night of 4U RAGE FESTIVAL.
