The first artist to head to Durban is the legendary Rodriguez. He has perhaps one of the most unique true stories of fleeting fame finally realized and is now enjoying the collective heartfelt dream of a musician, beating the odds and finding a place in music history. His first Durban date on 31st January 2016 is sold out but an extra date has been added on 1st February 2016. Rodriguez is shortly followed by Roxette whose on-going world tour will lead up to the celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary in 2016 with opening dates in South Africa. Next up is Lionel Richie who will be performing ‘All The Hits, All Night Long’ at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 13thMarch 2016. His latest album release ‘Stages’ peaked at number 1 for 3 weeks, on the South African music charts. A collection of some of the greatest musical theatre songs of all time, which Groban describes as “gorgeously arranged songs that have stood the test of time”.
