Now in its 11th year, the 56km Zululand Ultra Marathon will be kicking off at 6am from Nongoma’s KwaGqikazi Stadium on Sunday, March 13th with the 10km and 5km starting off from the Ulundi Regional Stadium at 7am and 7:15am respectively.
If you haven’t yet entered, and are medically fit and ready to run, you can collect your entry forms and register at the ZDM offices (B400 Gagane Street, Ulundi) between 8am – 3pm weekdays only. If you are unable to get there during the times stipulated, then on Saturday, March 12th from 10am until 9pm, you can enter and register at the KwaGqikazi Hall or the Ulundi Regional Stadium.
The top 10 in the male and female 56km / 10km categories will receive gold medals and t-shirts and a car will be up for grabs for the first male / female runner home in the 56km event as well as various cash prizes up for grabs for the winners in the various categories. The prize giving will take place at 11am where all the winners will be announced.
Entry fees range from R150 for the 56km event to R50 for the 10km and just R5 for the 5km event. Entry Forms and proof of payment must be faxed through to 035-8745589/91 for the attention of Thobile Nsimbi.

This event is run strictly in accordance with the rules of the IAAF, ASA and KZN Athletics so, once entered, please ensure that you have read and understood all the event rules and regulations as well as on the race day.
