Splashy Fen 2017: Recap & Photos

Published

on

Over 5,500 Splashy Fenners made their way to the beautiful Splashy Fen campsite to enjoy an Easter long-weekend with family and friends.

After a wonderful weekend for many Splashy Fen goers, they are now treasuring the memories of a festival that touched so many souls!

  • A festival of fun, tolerance, happiness, laugher, sun, rain, ice & frost.
  • A festival that welcomed an 86 year old, along with a 2 month old and everyone in-between.
  • A festival that allowed us all to forget what world news was, what exchange rates meant, and what politicians were deciding.
  • A festival that can truly be described as “SA’s Friendliest Festival”.

Splashy lives on in memory of Peter Ferraz and his unbelievable vision of co-creating a music festival that in 2018 will be staged for the 29th time.

  • The Playhouse Company in central Durban offers a grand, historic setting—its ornate architecture and superb acoustics elevate performances like Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Hans Zimmer-inspired compilations.
