If you are looking forward to a fun night out with the girls, Ster-Kinekor has just the answer. Join them for the second ‘Girlfriends’ Getaway’ event for 2014, taking place on Wednesday, 12 March, from 19:00. Enjoy each other’s company as you are entertained with a wonderful film specially for the girls. Tyler Perry’s The Single Mom’s Club will have you laughing and crying together as you bond over the fortunes and misfortunes of everyday life.
Due to popular demand, Ster-Kinekor has added another four cinemas to host its monthly get-together: Cradlestone Mall in Krugersdorp, Secunda in Mpumalanga, Garden Route in George, and The Grove in Pretoria. Enjoy a special pre-screening of this comedy drama, as you are pampered and entertained with ‘Girlfriends Getaway’.
Brought together by an incident at their children’s school, a group of single mothers from different walks of life find a common bond. They create a support group that helps them find comedy in the obstacles of life, as well as their inner strength to overcome their personal challenges.
The Single Mom’s Club stars Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, Amy Smart, Terry Crews and its director Tyler Perry.
Writer, director and producer of The Single Mom’s Club, Tyler Perry has written and produced many stage plays during the 1990s and early 2000s and is well-known for both creating and performing as Madea. Perry is also a prolific creator of feature films, some produced as live recordings of stage plays and others professionally filmed.
