Introducing Salta Sibaya

Published

on

The Devmco Group have worked on their latest innovation that aims to transform the Sibaya Coastal Precinct’s landscape from normal to extraordinary with a never-before-seen seaside neighbourhood, Salta Sibaya, which proudly sits above Umdloti and forms part of the precinct holistic development plan.

Salta Sibaya will set the precedent for how South Africans will live in the future within a vibrant mixed-use development. The developers pushed the boundaries in providing a bespoke retail and commercial element that is within walking distance of homes. As the future home to Spar, Tops, Woolworths and Pump Track, Salta Sibaya will have a myriad of shopping experiences on its doorstep.

The new central business district, with a culmination of some of South Africa’s much-loved brands finding their home in the dynamic commercial sector.

“When we embarked on this project, our vision was to take the Sibaya lifestyle to the next level by creating a dynamic mixed-use development, where residents live moments away from their workplace allowing them to spend more time on life’s pleasures; braais with family, trail walks throughout the conservancy and estate while enjoying breath-taking views. Salta Sibaya gives you a variety of residential opportunities, with a choice of spacious, pet-friendly, freestanding coastal homes starting from R2.95 million, perfect for those who wish to semigrate to KZN,” shares Devmco Group Director, Charles Thompson.

Choose a double storey or single-story piece of land and build your coastal family home or invest in one of the turn-key home designs.
The homes range between 2-bedroom homes from R2 950 000, 3-bedroom homes from R3 300 000, and 4-bedroom homes from R3 900 000.

Book Review: The Knight and the Moth

Published

on

“This is the first book of the “The Stonewater Kingdom” duology and is absolutely perfect for gothic romantasy lovers like myself!

The Knight and The Moth follows the story of a Diviner (A woman who receives visions from six God-like creatures known as Omens) and her journey to the world beyond an ancient cathedral, the only home she has only ever known. Her fellow Diviners start to go missing after a knight arrives at the cathedral and she has no choice but to seek his help in finding them. But searching for the missing Diviners leads her to discover a much darker truth.

This is not the typical magical world you expect, the focus more on magical objects than magical powers which was unique and refreshing. The whole story intrigued me and kept me reading and reading so I could unravel the lies and find out the truth along with the main character, Sybil. I enjoyed her development from an obedient servant to a defiant and strong woman who now sees the world and herself differently.

Of course there was romance…instant hate and banter vibes between Sybil and the knight Rory, that grew into something more. It was quite a slow burn with one or two spicy scenes but as an avid smut reader I would have preferred a bit more spice haha.

I adored the quirky and annoying sidekick…a stone gargoyle who constantly mixes up phrases and has a knack for calling everyone Bartholomew. Hilarious! I loved this character and all his peculiar traits, he definitely brought light and humour to the story and had me laughing at some very awkward and embarrassing moments.

There was a shocking discovery towards the end, everything just clicked and it all finally made sense! The last few chapters were action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat, ending with such a twist!

If you love secrets and betrayal this is definitely for you. The second book is scheduled to come out sometime in 2026 and I can’t wait to read the epic conclusion!”
